The looks of the bike is nice with direct competition with other bikes in the same category.
The Suzuki GS150R is powered with an engine of 149 cc which produces 13.8 bhp power and has a carburettor (no FI (Fuel Injection)) and also gets a Throttle Positioning Sensor (TPS).
Although a 150cc bike it is more conveniently tuned for the City ride (this somewhat reminds me of Unicorn) unlike Pulsars which are more tuned for performance. The bike is also comes with an engine balancer technology which minimize the vibrations of engine and also with noise damping system.
Suzuki claims the GS150R can achieve 50kmpl in City and 55kmpl on the highway.
Features of the Suzuki GS150R :
1. Engine : The 150 cc engine produces 13.8 bhp max power @ 8500 rpm. It is equipped with a carburettor, and comes with engine balancer technology.
2. Headlight / fairing : The headlight / front part of the Suzuki GS150R is a bit disappointing as it is similar to that of Pulsar. It has a bikini fairing with wolf eyed headlamps.
4. Power / Economic Mode : This is the first bike in India as perr I have seen comes with a feature that lets you choose the running mode of the bike namely. Power and economy. Power mode if selected the bike is ready for performance and racing and when Economic mode is selected it changes the bike's fuel consumption behaviour and is best for city riding and pocket too.
5. Console : The suzuki GS150R comes with a neat Digital Console The digital console of GS150R features a digital speedometer and a swithover to two modes namely Power ode and Economic mode. Apart from that, it displays fuel level, trip meter, time, speed and gear position. It displays RPM through an integrated analog rpm meter. Pretty Impressive design.
