Either Mercedes-Benz has a serious leak, or it's trying hard to get our attention. While visiting company headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany, a lucky visitor spotted a completely unclothed 2011 CLS sedan, making it the fourth leaked Mercedes we've seen this week.
Like the current CLS, the vehicle pictured features sporty coupe looks wrapped in a sedan body. The sedan's C-pillar flows into the trunk area, while the short window openings continue with the coupe theme. Several new features presented on the new model give it an updated look, but its overall stance is much more muscular than the rounded lines of some recent Mercedes models.
Last February, we took a look at a rendering of the car that seems to have been near spot-on, judging by what we see in this example. The front grille is much more upright than the current generation's, and as with the current CLS, chrome trim surrounds the window openings. An additional band of chrome around the car's lower waist gives it a more refined appearance.
There's no official word on powertrain options, but we wouldn't be surprised to eventually see either of Mercedes' new 4.6 or 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V-8s, and possibly a hot AMG model. Stay with us as more details emerge about the revised CLS.
